The Show History
The Central Australian Show Society has organised the Alice Springs Show since the first show in 1960.
The very first Alice Springs show was held at Anzac Oval (called at the time "the Alice Springs Oval") in the middle of the city centre.
The 1960 Show was held at a different time 29th April Friday and Saturday 10am to 10pm both days.
The 1960 committee consisted of some very notable names for Alice Springs.
